Congrats to Don Defreeze and his recent book's publication Climb Beyond the Crest, available at most online stores (Amazon, Barnes, etc).

If you prefer not to drive to the event, take our courtesy shuttle.

Join Don (B.S. Meteorology) on the day's Appalachian adventure. His accumulated knowledge about the region's mountains spans decades; his insights will entertain and inform at every turn. Hikes end at 5pm, which may be extended if all agree.

Rest in comfort at night, Excihiking can book your Roanoke hotel room for you, or develop a camp-out. We know the best locations and can maintain primitive as well as developed campsites.

One day touring Roanoke is recommended, attend the many venues that Roanoke offers, being a tourist city itself. We extend our support after-hours by providing information about shopping, dining and such. Whatever your goal, Excihiking will design a perfect adventure for you.
