Grand Targhee Resort receives over 500 inches of snow each winter over 1800 acres of lift serviced ski and snowboard terrain . An additional 600 acres of terrain are reserved exclusive for Grand Targhee Snowcat Adventures . Other winter activities include cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and snow tubing . In summer, Grand Targhee Resort operates a scenic chairlift with spectacular views of Grand Teton National park, and the best mountain bike and hiking trails in the region . A kaleidoscope of wildflowers blankets the mountain in July and August . Three mountainside lodges provide ski-in/ski-out convenience to the slopes at Grand Targhee Resort in the winter, and are walking distance from all of the Summer activities the resort has to offer . Grand Targhee Resort is an idyllic setting for group gatherings or business conferences of any size . Not only is the scenery inspiring and the air clear, our secluded alpine resort offers the optimum private setting to step away from the stresses of everyday life . Four separate meeting rooms of varying capacity and our mountainside conference tent combine for over 9,000 sq . ft of conference space, offering flexibility for larger group functions . Our full-time conference planners can help arrange everything- accommodations, meals, activities, meeting rooms, theme parties, events and off-site golf and fishing outings, to name a few . Grand Targhee Resort has been awarded the 2009 Golden Eagle Award for Environmental Excellence by the National Ski Areas Association . Please note, the front desk is open 24 hours a day and the housekeeping service schedule is from 9am-5pm .
