The Stirling House is an 1880 Victorian home, fully renovated and filled with state of the art amenities. Dazzling waterfront location and its wraparound front porch is unmatched by any other. A gourmet full breakfast is served to our guests in the breakfast room (or porch) each morning. Afternoon snacks are served and await your return from shopping, wine tastings, and enjoying our coast and town! The Stirling House offers three distinctive bedrooms to our guests. Each room has an ensuite private bath. Our beautiful breakfast/sitting room is just the place to surround yourself with antiques and enjoy a great book! The Greenport Room puts a bit of the North Fork resort feel right into the room. Filled with nautical memorabilia, it is a must for any lighthouse fan. The room is furnished with a comfortable king bed, a cedar closet, air conditioning and ceiling fan. The Shelter Island room has a sense of the beach. A queen size bed and "garden corner" add to a light, informal feel. The room also features an old-style ceiling fan (as well as air conditioning) and many original paintings.The French Room features eclectic French collectibles to enjoy during your "sejour a la Parisienne." The corner of the room features a very comfortable antique cane chair complete with an overstuffed pillow from Versailles...the pillow is nice, but it's not worth "losing your head over!" Of course there are the modern comforts such as ceiling fan and air conditioning.

Please, no smoking in the house.Children ages 12 and over are welcome.No more than two guests are allowed per room.We are sorry that we cannot accommodate pets.For the comfort of all of our guests, please limit noise after 10pm.Check in time is 4pm-6pm. Please advise in advance for late arrivals.Check out time is 11am.Breakfast is served from 8:30am until 10am.

Reservations must be confirmed with a deposit. A deposit of 50% of the cost of the stay will be required for reservations of two nights or more. One-night reservations require a deposit of full payment.Deposits must be received by fourteen days prior to the date of arrival or the reservation will be cancelled.Deposits will be refunded less a $20 cancellation fee if your cancellation notice is received at least fourteen days prior to the scheduled arrival date. Cancellations received less than fourteen days prior to the scheduled arrival date will require forfeiture of the deposit.Full payment for your stay is due upon arrival.
