Princess Chambers: Soft and billowy, where original Louis Icart ladies grace the sublime environment. An ornate king size antique brass bed sits high, dressed in white lace as it overlooks the wood burning fireplaces and offers lovely lake views. A gilded mirror, an antique wicker doll carriage and a walnut breakfast table with Eastlake chairs complete the subtle feminine mood. In the bath, gentle tones of gray and pink grace the two person Jacuzzi and oversized shower. Just outside the French doors, an oversized hammock awaits on a large deck along with chaise lounge chairs and breakfast table.
Sherwood Room: Alluringly Victorian in warm rose tones. A king canopy draped in lace with a view of the woods. Our just married bride and groom bears dressed in their taffeta wedding clothes set on the Hepplewhite dressing table. Oriental carpets lavishly cover the oak floor. Floral brocade chairs grace the wood burning fireplace. An ornately carved walnut armoire holds coffee service, TV and VCR. Breakfast is to be enjoyed at the oak claw foot table by the window, or out on the deck. The Sherwood bath is quite spacious with an oversized shower and a ship’s maiden presides regally over the Jacuzzi tub for two.
Casablanca: An enchanting place. A sophisticated bed chamber where Cappiello’s Cognac Monet resides. A cathedral ceiling, a fine Country French armoire, and a pink taffeta love seat form a soft backdrop for the king size laced canopy bed and the two person Jacuzzi nestled in front of the windows overlooking the lake. Above the fireplace hangs a huge gold silken corn wreath, and on the hearth sits an 18th Century bronze bust, making a captivating environment for breakfast by the fire. There is a full bath, a small wet bar, and a large, sweeping deck offering tranquil lake views.
Master Suite: Utterly engaging with just a touch of whimsy. Two walls of glass offer stunning lake views and drench the room in soft sunlight. Creamy, sensuous shades of pink and rose with white shuttered windows. A king size lace draped canopy bed, an antique country pine armoire, oriental carpets, wing chairs overlooking the fireplace and a breakfast table with a lake view warmly fill the room. The cut crystal perfume bottles, a yellow roadster, his and hers 1920’s mannequins dressed for a game of golf and a painted rocking horse are captivating touches. In the bath, a two person Jacuzzi and oversized shower. French doors open onto a large deck with an oversized hammock, chaise lounge chairs and breakfast table.
Lakeside Quarters: Our most private accommodations. A handsome haven for the hounds and foxes. A lavishly pine paneled English library where scenes from fox hunts are poised over an antique shuttered headboard that graces a king size bed. In the corner, a riding cap, whip and boots, a wing chair by the fire and antique captain’s chairs by the breakfast table. The bath offers a two person Jacuzzi, which is mirrored and distinctively trimmed in redwood, and separate shower. French doors open onto an alluringly private deck that hangs into the treetops and offers dazzling lake views.
Southampton Room: A memorable place where the hounds and foxes frolic. At the foot of a king size canopy bed, a lady fox sits properly dressed and ready for the upcoming hunt. Her beau stands by, caring for a colorful quilt. The antique pine dressing table is home to a couple of local teddy bears. This is a cozy and amusing country room wrapped in warm shades of goldenrod and russet. The morning sun dances across the breakfast table and there is a glimpse of the lake, making a great spot to snuggle up with coffee as the wood burning fireplace crackles.
