Art-therapy Retreat

The programme has been set up as a mixture of nature and art therapy among 7 days workshops in various locations of Istria: a range of creativity, art, relax, expression, awareness and developing of inner and creative potentials through all the beauty, the richness, the power and the charm of different creative solutions, techniques and art therapy processes (music, dance, movement, painting, modelling, guided visualizations, bodywork) and psychotherapeutic techniques with the aim of achieving awareness of the inner and outer nature, exploring and expressing yourselves in magnificent and inspiring landscapes and towns of Istria.

To attend the classes no former knowledge, skill or experience in the fields of painting, dancing or art in general is needed. All you need is the desire to explore and express yourselves.

We work in small groups of 4-8 participants in order to achieve an individual approach and quality work.

The classes and the accommodation itself are located in a small fishermen's town called Funtana, 7 km southern from Poreč along the coastline. The town itself is named by the water sources located in the place. Water is life, as the wisdom quote goes. And Funtana, whose name comes from the latin fons, fonticus, meaning source, has the water running in its very name and the nature here was particularly inspired to create the most well-indented part of the Istrian peninsula's coastline...

The villa with apartments**** for your accommodation and workshops is situated only 100 meters from the water sources by the sea.

The programme is meant to be held in the indoor areas of the Villa, in its green garden, in the nature, on the water sources, by the sea on sunset, and in various locations of Istria: outdoors in Dvigrad with a visit to the Lim Channel and Klostar in Kloštar, Rovinj, Baredine cave, Grožnjan and Motovun.

In case of rain and bad weather it is possible to change locations of workshops and to adjust to an indoor programme

Villa Linet **** is situated in a big, marvellous green garden in Funtana, on the Istrian peninsula. The beach is only 200-300 meters away. Each apartment is equipped in its own unique way with an artist touch, paintings and decorations. Each apartment is equipped with one or two double rooms, (each with private bathroom), dining room and kitchen completelly furnished with dishes, the microwave and all the necessary cookware for tea/coffee, so you can make your own breakfast, lunch or dinner according to your wishes or you can enjoy your meals in the surrounding restaurants.

There is a free internet access in all the apartments of the Villa. The guests can relax in the balconies, terraces and sunbeds in the garden. The barbeque equipment is also at your disposal in the villa.
