With an unbeatable location in the very heart of Split, Old Town is a cozy little hostel run by locals and travelers always willing to show you a good time and make sure you have a safe and fun stay.
We are located within the walls of Diocletian's Palace, within a stone's throw from the hippest bars, restaurants, caf�s, shops, fast food joints etc.
Our newly renovated and refurbished dorms are all air-conditioned and equipped with safety lockers.
Facilities at your service include a spacious, well equipped kitchen, free towel rental, free WiFi, a guest computer and laundry service.
The common room - chill out central, features a big screen TV with a hard drive packed with movies and brand new seasons of your favorite shows. A book exchange and a selection of board games are sure to make a relaxed indoors night an inviting option.
If, instead, you're here to explore Split's nightlife, what better place to start then the old town! Kick off the night at one of the many bars and then move onto the popular beach clubs at BaÄÂvice (15 min walk) where you can get your groove on until the early morning hours. Split Tower Pubcrawl is another safe bet for a big night out!
*Reception hours: 8am-10pm. If you are arriving before or after reception hours please contact us 24 hours prior to arrival!

*Check-out: 12:00 (noon)
*We are a little tricky to find - being inside a UNESCO Heritage zone we are not allowed to put up signs, so make sure to carefully follow directions!
*We don't accept credit cards. All payments must be in cash, preferably in Croatian kuna, but Euro is also accepted.
*We are on the 3rd floor, so please keep this in mind if you're carrying heavy luggage.
*Party people and heavy boozers are most welcome, however, take note that we have to keep the noise down from 10pm until 8am due to city noise restriction laws!
From the airport:
From the airport, catch a shuttle bus (30 kn a person for a one way trip). It takes about 40 minutes to reach Split and the bus will drop you off at the main bus station. From there just refer to the directions below.
If you're catching a taxi, tell the driver to drop you off at the taxi stand on the main promenade, and from there follow the directions below.
From the ferry port / train station / bus station:
From the ferry/bus/train hub, walk towards Diocletian's Palace (to your right if facing the water). After about 5 minutes, you will reach a taxi stand. Turn right and walk through the markets alongside the Palace wall until you see a big stone archway gate to your left - Silver Gate. Go through and continue past Peristil square with St Duje Cathedral (big bell tower) and for another 60 meters until you reach the Calzedonia shop. Turn right and walk straight up the street and into the blind alley with the yellow 'Svijet knjige' bookshop on the right. Our entrance is the white door on the right, Dominisova 3.
