Rebecca welcomes you to Ardenbeg Bunkhouse in the Cairngorms National Park. The centre is open to everyone, whether touring Scotland or participating in a course and is ideal for individuals, families and groups. The purpose built bunkhouse is located in the scenic Spey Valley in the Highland town of Grantown-on-Spey. The centre is an ideal base for all outdoor activities - close to the stunning Cairngorm mountains which offer skiing, snowboarding, winter and summer mountaineering, a short distance from numerous forest tracks for mountain biking and rambling and just a mile from the River Spey which is excellent for canoeing, kayaking and fishing and walking. You could even try your hand at sailing or windsurfing on one of the local lochs. Activities are optional but Ardenbeg can arrange tuition and equipment hire for all the outdoor activities mentioned.
We aim to give value for money in the bunkhouse accommodation. Each of the four rooms has its own shower room (ensuite or just opposite the bedroom) and the fully equipped kitchen/diner/TV area are shared. There is a superb drying room and a spacious garden, excellent for those summer BBQs. Self cater or ask us about providing a chef! We can assist with other details as well such as providing weather reports or even booking your next hostel.
The centre is just a couple of minutes walk from the town which offers numerous shops, restaurants and bars. So why not come and sample some traditional Highland hospitality at Ardenbeg Bunkhouse? 4 private rooms each with their own bathroom, one ensuite. Two fully equipped self catering kitchens with dining room and TVs. Drying room to get all the ski and mountaineering and paddling kit dry. Kit preparation area for storage.
