Typical Day
Day 1 : Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate :
Depart from Marrakech at 8am to travel over the stunning High Atlas Mountains through Tizi n'Tichka (alt 2260 m). We will stop to enjoy impressive landscapes and visit the Argon oil cooperative. After lunch at a local restaurant we will have the afternoon to visit UNESCO World Heritage site, Ait Ben Haddou. We will depart to Ouarzazate for dinner and accommodation in a traditional hotel.
Day 2 : Ouarzazate - Draa Valley - Merzouga :
6After a morning visit to the Taourirt Kasbah, we will travel the scenic road along the the Djebel Sarhro mountain range, down to the oases and kasbahs of the Draa valley and along the Draa, Morocco's largest river on our way to the desert. We will pass through many Berber villages including Agdz and N'kob where we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant before arriving to Merzouga. We will have dinner and accommodation in a desert hotel.
Day 3 : Merzouga - Khamlia - Rissani - Erg Chebbi (Night In Nomadic Tent) :

We will will make a circuit of the desert dunes where you will have the opportunity to see the nomad's way of life and the amazing changing contrasts of the desert. We will visit to the ‘black village' of Khamlia to see the Gnawa musicians. We will have a traditional Berber pizza for lunch in the ancient capital of Rissani. After lunch you can visit the traditional markets. In the afternoon we will return to the hotel to prepare for departure on the camels. As the sunsets over the Erg Chebbi desert dunes we will ride the camels 90 minutes to the desert camp. We will have a traditional tagine dinner and delicious mint tea while watching the stars and the rising moon in the amazing desert. We will spend the night in a traditional nomad tent
Day 4 : Merzouga - Todra Gorge - Dades Gorge :
IMG-20151030-WA0026We will rise early to see the spectacle of the sunrise over the dunes of the Sahara before making our way back to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. After breakfast, we will travel via Erfoud, behind the High Atlas Mountains on route to the Todra Gorges. We will take a short walk up in the towering Todra Gorges before continuing along the picturesque river valleys towards Dades Gorge. In the afternoon you can take a walk in the Dades Gorge. Dinner and accommodation in a hotel.
Day 5 : Dades Gorge - Telouet - Marrakech :
We will take a morning walk in the gorge we will follow the Dades Valley through El Kelaa Magona and oasis of Skoura. After lunch in Ouarzazate we will descend the High Atlas Mountains to visit Telouet and the Kasbah el Glaoui. We Will early evening to Marrakech

Riads are traditional Moroccan houses built around an internal garden and courtyard - peaceful and a wonderful place for guests to relax out of the sun. Riads in Morocco are located in the older part of the cities and provide small guest rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Riads are beautifully decorated in traditional Moroccan style and offer a truly personal service and an intimate atmosphere at the heart of Moroccan culture.
Accommodation in the desert will be in a bivouac, a traditional nomad camp. The tents are made of camel wool, the perfect material for Sahara Desert as their thickness protects from the heat of the sun and when it rains, the wool expands, producing a water-proof material. Basic tent accommodation with no facilities through to luxury en-suite tents are available.
Outside of the larger cities we stay in traditional style hotels. The hotels provide authentic Moroccan bed and breakfast accommodation.
