Bufflehead is a 32' wooden gaff sloop; safe, swift and seaworthy. We also offer overnight trips aboard a 33' schooner, Advent.

Short trips take in Rockland's active harbor and broad protected bay out past Rockland's Breakwater Lighthouse to Owl's Head light, featuring views of the Camden Hills and many islands. Longer trips can reach islands in the Muscle Ridges or across the Bay, with hiking, picnicing and lobsterbake options. Multi-day trips range Penobscot Bay, and beyond to Mt Desert Island and Isle au Haut.

Daysails on Bufflehead, you can BYO food/drink or we can cater for you. We partner with several restaurants to provide gourmet dinners and lunches, or we can put together a picnic for you. We also work with a lobster fisherwoman to do fresh lobsterbakes in the Muscle Ridges. Overnight trips are done on a 33' schooner that I rebuilt for the owners, Advent has an aft cabin with large cozy bunks.
