Hostal Rio de Castro is a family-run property in the center of Barcelona. We are open since 1967 to serve our customers.
We have 12 rooms, which means we are able to offer personalized service.
The hotel is just front the Paralelo, an area with a lot of cultural activities to choose from (theaters, cinemas, etc.), and only 300 meters from the Feria de Barcelona, or Barcelona Trade Fair, which is the city's most important conference and business center.
A ten minute walk will take you to the bus stop where you can go from the Plaza de Espanya to the airport, or the top of Montjuic where you can enjoy the beautiful views.

From the airport
Aerobus: Get off at the first stop (Plaza de Espana).
From there, walk six blocks down Paralel street until you reach number 119 (The hotel address is Avda. Paralel, 119)
From Plaza de Espanya:
It is about an eight-minute walk.
It takes two minutes by taxi, and costs between 2 and 3 Euros.
It takes five minutes by bus from the Plaza de Espanya (take bus number
57 or 157).
By Metro (subway take line 3) it is one stop away and takes three
minutes. Get off at Poble Sec.
3. From the Sants Train Station:
Take the Metro (Line 3) to Poble Sec (three stops) and we are front the Metro Station at 30 meters
4.- From Plaza de Catalunya and Las Ramblas, you can go:
by foot; it takes 20 minutes.
by Metro; there is a direct line (Line 3).
by taxi; it takes 5 minutes and costs 4-6 Euros
