The Bar W Guest Ranch is ready to treat you to true Montana hospitality from the moment you arrive until long after the sun sets. Located in beautiful Northwest Montana and nestled between two pine-covered ridges in an idyllic setting at the base of Spencer Mountain. The Ranch is just a stone's throw away from the town of Whitefish, Glacier National Park, and the Glacier Park International Airport.

Through the Bar W horses, activities, meals, games, music, and dance, you will make friendships and connections that could last a lifetime. Bar W offers different guest week packages. Based on the package you select will determine your weekly schedule! Packages range from a lot of horse riding, to no horse riding at all, we have something for everyone!

The Kids' Program is so important to Bar W that each year they work hard on making it better! This year, we have a Programming Director in charge of developing a top-notch program! We have dedicated Kids' Program counselors and have just opened our new facility, ‘The Wild West' which includes indoor and outdoor play spaces! We love having kids on the ranch and want to make sure that their experience is the best vacation ever.

The Bar W offers blended elegance with Western informality.

Main Lodge:
The main lodge is 6,200 square feet with 6 bedrooms, 3 common spaces, game parlor, and hot tub. Each of the lodge rooms is unique in size and amenities. For a more rustic ambiance look no further than our cabin suite. Each suite offers a private deck, kitchenette and views of our horse pasture and often visiting wildlife!

Glamping Tents:
For a unique experience consider "Glamping" or glamorous camping. Glamping offers the best of both worlds, wall tents are beautifully appointed with queen size beds, kitchenettes, and a private porch. Just a few steps away is your private bathroom! Believe us when we say, you will never think of camping the same way!

Log Cabins:
There are three new cabins and one original cabin on site. These rustic and beautiful cabins are located adjacent from our glamping sites and horse area. Wake up every day to the sound of the ranch, wildlife and the comfort and amenities these wonderful cabin arrangements offer.

Covered Wagon:
For a one-of-a-kind experience you will want to check out these incredible covered wagons for your stay. They feature a queen bed, sitting area and quaint bathroom. The look and feel of this covered wagon will have you talking about it for years, there really is nothing like it, and you will marvel at the beauty, luxury and craftsmanship they offer.

Wait until you sit down to some of the best down-home cooking this side of the Mississippi-Montana style! Meals are prepared with love and care and are always in hearty portions-no one leaves hungry! Meals are served buffet style in the Horseshoe dining center! We are happy to accommodate special dietary needs with advanced notice.
