Windsong is centrally located in the Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina with easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Cherokee Indian Reservation, whitewater rafting, mountain horseback riding, the Biltmore Estate and Winery, Grandfather Mountain, Chimney Rock, the great old mountain towns of Asheville, Waynesville and Black Mountain and much more. Enough to keep you busy for a week.
Windsong is a contemporary log B&B with five guest rooms for couples and two family suites. It is located on 24 acres (15 hectares) of forest and pasture land at 3,000 ft (1000 m) in the Smoky Mountains. The breezes flowing down the mountain and through its many wind chimes inspired the name, "Windsong." It is a llama farm with sheep and goats added in for fun. An ever-changing and renowned (written up in the New York Times Travel Section) breakfast is included for inn guests. Suite guests receive an extensive continental breakfast. Stream, hiking paths, fishing pond on the property.
Rates range from $115-$145 in the Main Inn in the low season and $125-$155 in the high season. Suites are $160-$180 for a couple and $10 per additional person age 2+.

The unique rooms at Windsong reflect the years the Innkeepers have lived around Europe and many parts of the US. You can sneak away to Africa in the Safari Room (the honeymoon favorite) or to Old Mexico in the Santa Fe Room. Or, try Provence in the Garden Room. Rooms offer queen beds, wood-burning fireplaces, tubs for two, private bathroom, deck or patio and a fantastic 20 mile view across the mountains.
Windsong is a no smoking inn. We also don't permit guest pets. Children of all ages are welcome in the family suites but children over 12 only are permitted in the Main Inn.
