M+M Bike Adventures - mountain biking holidays

The mountian biking routes are for the keen, fit and up for a challenge type of person. Stamina and ability to cope with technical routes are good attributes. This area has some of the best mountain biking routes in the country. From Dry river beds to high Moorish mule tracks (formerly trade route from village to village), some 1000metres above sea level.

Leave the Pension around 10 am. After a short warm up around the narrow village streets we have heart pumping climbs, followed by stunning scenic undulating traverses on a mixture of forestry trails and singletrack, then blow your mind with awesome decents, some broad and fast others tough and technical. A picnic lunch is normally taken on the mountain. Returning back to base around 4pm in time to sink a beer or two and enjoy our hospitality and home cooked evening meals

We offer half board accommodation in our comfortable guest house, which is situated in the heart of the old village we offer a friendly hospitality, a relaxed environment, home cooked evening meals accompanied by local wine from our barrel. We have one evening off when you will be expected to go out and sample the local dishes in the various bars in the village.

We also offer walking. There is a choice of other activities in the area: climbing, riding etc. It is possible to hire a car and explore further afield as there is alot of interesting history and historical sites to visit. We have no public transport here. We do have 2 banks, supermarket, butcher, baker, doctor and chemist. We are tucked into the mountains 30km and 50 years away from the hustle and bustle of the Mediterranean coast between Alicante and Valencia.
