Safari Suite
Let your wild side out and go on an African Safari! Thie Safari Suite is a 440 sq ft room with vaulted ceiling, walk in shower and claw foot tub, all beautifully decorated with authentic South African artwork. Relax in your chaise lounge or separate large sitting area. Enjoy breakfast or afternoon cocktails on your own private deck floating in the woods.

Victorian suite
Decorated in the flair of the late 19th century, this expansive suite is complete with a bedroom area and an attached living room area, a double sided slate-stone gas fireplace with a hardwood maple mantel which faces the bedroom area, along with a comfortable sitting area with couch and cozy wing chair. Oriental rugs and eye-catching artwork add finishing touches. The bathroom of this suite sports a Spanish-tiled, two-person 125 gallon Jacuzzi which faces the other side of the fireplace; There is also a wet bar complete with sink and refrigerator; and separate shower area.

Log Cabin Suite
This spacious room envelops you with the sights and smells of the great pine forests, with round log walls, planked ceilings and sanded floors. The bedroom area and attached living room area are decorated with mission style furniture, oriental rugs and framed hand colored plat maps of Saugatuck & Douglas from 1913. Cozy up near a double-sided gas fieldstone fireplace which faces the bedroom area and the other side faces the 125 gallon jacuzzi. There is also a wet bar with refrigerator and sink & a separate bath and shower.

Black & White Room
Bonjour Mes Amis! This room is perfect for a romantic getaway in Michigan. Spend the night in Paris in this French inspired, bright and cheerful room overlooking the pool and forest. It has a queen sized bed with a beautiful Mahogany headboard, antique armoire, and a two person Settee. It also sports a private bath with 90 gallon Jacuzzi.

Treetops
One of Sherwood Forest's most creative rooms boasts a professionally hand painted mural covering the entire room, transforming the space into a canopied loft raised high up in the tree tops, surrounded by lush woods. This room is complemented by an oak-mantel gas fireplace and private bathroom with shower.

Rose
The Rose Room has a queen sized bed and is decorated in early Americana with a beautiful patchwork quilt, mahogany headboard and oriental rug. Relax in the comfortable reading chair as you catch up on those magazines or latest book. The Rose Room includes a private bath with shower.

Let us wine & dine you. Book the entire bed & breakfast for 2 days or more and we'll create a catered feast to tantalize your taste buds. Dine in our beautiful dining room or, weather permitting, dine alfresco on our wrap-around porch.

Here are the details: dinner begins at $75 per person, dependant on menu selection. Guests must provide their own alcohol, and a 2 night minimum stay is required (deposit is nonrefundable if cancellation is made within 30 days of your reserved date).

Bed and Breakfast & Brewery

Looking for a weekend getaway involving brewing your own batch of beer? Sherwood Forest offers a unique weekend package that includes a two-night stay plus access to Saugatuck Brewing Company's brew-on-site facilities. SBC will provide the recipes, from light to dark, over 70 different recipes are available, including Summer Wheat to Red Ales to rich Porters. They'll also provide the ingredients and professional brewing equipment as well as the expertise to take you through the brewing process. You'll brew at least 11 gallons of beer (sixty 22oz. bottles). If 11 gallons of beer is more than you need, bring a friend or two and split the batch. It takes 3-4 hours to brew your batch, and you return in two weeks to bottle and sample your beer, which takes about 2 hours or you can have them bottle it.
