Classes begin on flat ground where you first learn to handle the glider while safely on the ground.
The hardest skill to learn is to confidently, and skillfully, inflate the glider and this skill is easily achieved through a program especially designed by us. Take offs, flights and landings are easily learnt on small training slopes, which allows you to build in confidence every hour of your training.
By day 2 you begin doing small solo flights or bunny hops on the training slopes under the careful guidance of the training team.
Day 3 is reserved for solo flying. At take off you strap on your equipment and do your safety checks under the watchful eye of your instructor. He will fix a radio onto your shoulder strap and check and then assist you to inflate your wing. A few steps forward and you will be airborne.
Floating gently through the air with the wind in your face and the rainbow colored wing gently rustling above, you get the idea of how it feels to fly freely like a bird. Your only contact with mankind will be your instructor's reassuring voice as he talks you through your flight. As you get closer to ferma terra another instructor will take over on the radio and bring you in for a safe, gentle landing
