Destinations include the scenic Honga River, where abundant wildlife exists, including pelicans, cormorants, bald eagles, and ospreys. On the Honga, you can learn how commercial fishermen who call this area home make a living.
Smith Island is the only inhabited island on Maryland's Chesapeake Bay that can only be reached by boat. It features a fine restaurant and a nice museum, where you can learn more about the island's history.
Solomons Island is directly across the Chesapeake Bay from our harbor. Solomons has the Calvert Marine Museum and numerous restaurants. It is also a mecca for sailboats.
