The Chill House Backpackers is a beautiful colonial hosue located in one of the most beautiful and famous plazas inside the old town of Cartagena (Plaza Fernandez de Madrid).
It is located within walking distance to all of the historics sites,delicious restaurants, supermarkets ancient churches, forts and museums. Now you can stay safetly inside the magic!
We have dorms and private rooms with ac or fans, as well as private or shared bathrooms depending on your preference. Staff available 24 hours a day. There is a spacious lounge area with sound sistem, flat screen satellite tv,DVD, and movies. We can also close the glass doors leading to the patio and rooms on party nights, that way you could chill in one area or party in another according to your tastes. Guest kitchen with everything you need to cook up your own meals or walk downstairs to enjoy an amazing meal at our restaurant Casa Majagua - Special deals for guests. From the airport take a $4 usd (10.000 pesos)
taxi, 5 minutes to the plaza de Fernandez de Madrid where we are located at the old town.
From the bus terminal you can take a taxi 5 usd (12.000 pesos) to the Plaza Fernandez de Madrid or you can take a bus called metro car to the old city center , for less than $ 1usd. Ask for the Plaza Fernandez de Madrid wich is about 5 minutes walk from the India Catalina monument where the bus lets you off
