Tallinn Old Town Backpackers is a small, cozy place for travelers to call home for a short time, to drop their backpacks and recharge their batteries before continuing on their voyage of discovery.
The hostel is located in a remodeled 17th to 18th century building. A small hostel, ideal for individual travelers with true backpacker's spirit who might be more interested in getting to know other travelers over a cup of tea before heading out to get to know each other over a pint of beer.
The Dorm is our living room, kitchen and common room. We offer a �home for travelers� in the oldest hostel in town. We are a hostel for travel-minded worldly backpackers with Books, Maps, Wi-Fi, Free Tea and Coffee and in excellent location to explore Tallinn's Old Town.
Please note that it is our home that we offer to share with you. So if you�re not a true backpacker please stay in one of our sister hostels (The Monks Bunk or Viru Backpackers) in Tallinn.
All our guests are also more than welcome to take part in the nightly Pub Crawl offered from one of our sister hostels.
If you are interested, we can arrange day-trips to Lahemaa national park and other interesting places of Estonia! You can also take part in a prison tour of Patarei prison, try shooting guns on the shooting range or, during the high season, take a fun trip with other backpackers to Riga, the capital of Latvia!
The staff is experienced travelers from all over the world! We are always more than happy to advise where to stay, what to see and to provide info on all we can that you just won't find in the guide books!

Old Town Backpackers
We are conveniently located and easy to find in the edge of Old Town on Uus street 14.
If arriving from the harbor first street you should encounter, when heading towards Old Town, is V�ike Rannav�rav. Continue to follow South and it becomes Uus Street.
If arriving from the bus station take a Tram #2 (stop Mere-Puiestee) or #4 (stop Lastemaailm) to Old Town, walk through the Viru Gate, which is located near both tram stops, and turn immediately to the right (away from McDonalds... please stay away from Mcdonalds).
If arriving from the airport take Bus #2 to the city center (bus stop Viru) where Old Town and Viru Gates are located nearby.
Again our address is Uus street 14, which is just opposite the Lithuanian embassy. Ring the bell or knock on the window and we will be waiting for you with a warm cup of tea/coffee and ready made beds!
