Georgian stone build house over looking Portobello beach, a charming and distinctive district of Edinburgh. Several of our guest rooms have fine views of the Firth of Forth . Nice garden to sea side, parking for 4 cars and on street perking.

A puplic turkish bath, swimming pool and sport fasilities are nearby, also restaurants and shops. Not far from an amusement park. 2 miles to Musselbrough race club and golf course.

1. From city centre from east Princess street, to Waterlaw place, Regend Street, London road, Portobello road, Portobello High street, Bellfield street then to Straiton place
2. From airport, A8, A720, A1, Portobello, from portobello high street turn left to portobello swimming pool on Bellfield street then to Straiton place.
There is a regular and efficient bus service to the city centre -Portobello is a mere 15 minute bus ride from Edinburgh city centre - which runs every 10 minutes from early morning through until about 23.30. Buses to and from the city centre are the No 26, 26A, (red buses) and No 66, 66A and 129 (SMT buses). There is in addition a night bus service available.
The A1 and the city bypass are situated nearby. When you approach Edinburgh by car you should follow the city bypass and then go on to the A1 and follow the road signs to Portobello (turn into Bellfield street from Portobello High street then to Straiton place
