The streams flowing out of the Blue Ridge and Allegheny Mountains are the best in Virginia, John offers trips for beginners to expert. John's Introduction to Flyfishing trip gives you a chance for a memorable journey to one or several pristine streams. Half-day and All day trips are offered,many guests like to do 2-3 days of fishing. Trips run from $175 to 350, lunch is provided on the all day trips which have been featured in Southern Living and The Angling Report. Instruction is frustration free, many of our guests make repeat trips . Our Lodge is the perfect place to stay, walkable to everything downtown.

Gives you a shot at catching some beautiful Virginia Rainbow, Brook, and Brown Trout in a very comfortable atmosphere, no pressure, no competition. Learn to cast and work a fly in a natural manner and earn a reward with fish on. John's goal is to give you some insight about this wonderful sport, hopefully you will receive the same enjoyment that John has had with it after 48 fishing seasons. Great wildlife viewing on the streams, trout live in high rent neighborhoods. Learn to enjoy and appreciate them.
