We are located in Wind River Country at the foot of the Wind River Mountains, on a working cattle ranch. We are only a few miles from Sinks Canyon State Park where there are hiking trails, fishing in lakes and streams. The cabins are near the Wind River Indian Reservation, The Red Desert, Louis Lake Loop Road, Historic South Pass City and Atlantic City.
Each cabin has a mini-kitchenette, fully furnished with dishes, silverware etc. There is a small living area and a private bedroom with a queen size bed. The loft in each cabin has twin beds. Each cabin has a porch that is great for sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful scenery. There are red bluffs in front of the cabins, and the Wind River Moutains rise behind them.
There is a propane BBQ grill for each cabin and a picnic table on the lawns.
The scenery is fabulous here on the ranch. The porches offer a place to kick back and relax while enjoying the beautiful scenery.
We are 4 1/2 miles from Lander, Wyoming, just a short drive to wonderful eating establishments, grocery stores, a movie theater, a museum and many other facilities.
These cabins are on a working Black Angus cattle ranch. The ranch has a historical background. The Lawman Cabin was built in 1890 by Sheriff Grimmetts.
