We design tours that take on average one week and begin and end in Havana or Varadero. We visit places like Havana, the Province of Pinar del Rio with places like Viñales or the Sierra del Rosario, the Centre of the Island with Cienfuegos, Trinidad or Remedios, the area between Havana and Varadero. We do it on bike mostly but always with motorized transportation as back up. We can quote any size of group starting 2 persons. We provide all hotel accomodation with breakfast and dinner. Lunch is included in the form of a snack along the way. We provide modern bikes in perfect condition. A english speaking professional guide on wheels goes along for explanations and technical assistance. Behind us there is a follow car with the luggage and in case somebody is too tired to continue.
We get around 07.30 AM and meet with the guide for breakfast. We discuss the program for the day, the track and how we are going to deal with it, the things to see along the way and where we will stop for visits. At 09.00 AM the luggage goes in the follow car and get on our bikes. Regularly the guide checks upon the bikers and for any problem he can call the follow car for assistance. Around midday we make a stop for our lunch in the form of a pick nick. We continue for what is left for the day. In the early afternoon we arrive at the following hotel where we already find our luggage in the rooms: time for refreshing in the pool or discover the area around the hotel. Dinner is served in the hotel buffet restaurant. In the evening we meet the guide at the bar and have a beer while we discuss the experiences of the day.

Broadreach is not a teen tour or traditional summer camp. We don't travel in buses, large groups or flotillas of sailboats. The cornerstone of our program design and philosophy is our small group size of just 10-14 participants. Living in a small group promotes teamwork, leadership, compromise and consideration, teaching important lessons applicable to life that will last long after the program is over. Opportunities are created not only by our course design, but by the group itself. Staff and students come together as a team to make the adventure happen. Our staff gives participants individual attention and helps to shape the trip around the goals and abilities of the group. In a small group, you can relax and be yourself. The supportive, non-competitive atmosphere created allows participants to appreciate others for who they are and make close friendships with people who have diverse interests and backgrounds.

Broadreachers do things they never thought they would do, see places they never thought they would see and explore our world on a level they never could with their family or on their own. We have programs for most abilities and interests and no experience is required for many of our trips. Just come with a desire to try new things and broaden your experiences!

There are no "typical" days on Broadreach! Each trip is divided into 3 parts and each is distinct. The first portion of the adventure begins when we step off of the plane, wasting no time we get into our first adventure and are struck with awe by the beauty of the natural world that surrounds us. Depending on your trip, divers of varying experience work on continuing their dive training or beginning their dive training. If you aren't on a dive trip you may find yourself galloping through the rainforest or hiking through the Austrailian bush. In the evenings everyone retires to cozy lodgings on the boat or the hostel, sipping tea and getting to know each other. There is hardly a dull moment on a Broadreach trip - you'll be playing hard and learning from sun up to sun down all about the activites you're doing and the places you're visiting. Our kayak tours appeal to many people for many reasons. The tours are small group with personalized services and visit areas of Grand Cayman that most people will never see. During the Mangrove Adventure Kayak tours, we explore the unique habitat of our Central Wetlands. The Central Wetlands are vital to our diving and snorkeling industry as they serve as a giant nursery for the marine life. This is only one of their many important functions. While in the wetlands we will be observing some unique creatures to the area- mangrove whelks, oysters, crabs, and upside jelly fish. There is a plethora of algae on the roots and sea floor and the clear calm waters of the wetlands will allow for easy observation. We keep a keen watch for young turtles and lobster too.On our Sunset Tour, a condensed version of the Mangrove Tour is taken, followed by a relaxing paddle down the sheltered coast to an ideal spot to watch the sun set on the horizon. We consider this tour to be ideal for first time paddlers, or people who enjoy the warmth and peacefulness of being on the Caribbean Sea at sun set. In the summer months, we will also observe the juvenile and adult turtles who utilize the area for their feeding and breeding grounds. Finally, in the evening on our Bio Cove Kayak Adeventure we offer a trip to see one of nature's little secrets. A longer, more vigorous paddle, this tour would not be considered for the first time kayaker or someone not comfortable on the sea. We go out on the darkest nights, as it makes for ideal star gazing, and perfect for interaction with the bioluminescence in the sea. While in the Cove, our paddles will stir the algae, creating an incredibly strong light below. The tour is informative and educational introducing you to a relatively unknown underwater secret. The cove is also feeding grounds for various fish and eagle rays so during the tour you may get to view them in action under you while they light up as they swim.
Mangrove Adventure Tours have a fluid schedule but generally depart Monday thru Thursday 9:30 AM and 1:30 PM Sunset Kayak Tours- depart Monday thru Thursday- 1.5 hours prior to Sunset - -Bio Bay Adventure Tours- have a fluid schedule based around the Full Moon. The tours start two nights after Full Moon, and runs for 19 days. Their is a detailed Night Tours calendar that can be found on our website for this tour.The best part may be that we are located in the North Side District, near Rum Point, far from the congstion of George Town on busy cruise ship days.
