The village where it is located is known for it's restored windmills and there is also a picnic area. The views from the windmills over the vineyards and villages is spectacular. It's is a nice walk from the villa and you can enjoy a picnic and watch the sun set. There are lots of small towns and villages to visit in the area and the silver coast beaches are approx 40 minutes drive away. There are also castles, caves, ruins, medieval mosaics, river bathing, gokarting, a water park etc all within easy access. You can do as much or as little as you want. It really is like stepping back in time and enjoying a slower pace of life. Fresh bread is delivered to the village daily delicious to enjoy whilst enjoying the view from one of the two upper terraces.
