Day One

Day Two
(Amman/ Um Qais/ Ajlun/ Jerash/ Amman)

Breakfast. Depart Amman to visit Um Qais, a city rich with basalt ruins and overlooking the Jordan Valley, Golan heights and Lake Tiberius (the sea of Galilee). Continue to visit the village of Ajlun with its fortress and magnificent view into the Jordan Valley. Proceed to visit Jerash one of the most preserved GraecoRoman cities in the Middle East and return to Amman. Overnight at the hotel.

Day Three
(MADABA mosaic school, St. george church, Mt. Nebo, DEAD SEA Petra over night!)

After breakfast, you will be driven southward along the King's Highway one of the oldest trade routes in the world runs 200 miles along Jordan's hilly backbone, you will stop at the Byzantine Church of Mt. Nebo, and then proceed to MADABA where you will see a unique map of Palestine at St. George church. Afterwards you will reach the Dead Sea the lowest spot on earth, 1306 feet below sea level. Enjoy the bizarre but delightful experience of floating on the surface of the buoyant waters, four times saltier than regular seawater. Proceed to Petra, overnight in Petra.

Day Four
(Full day Petra touring WADI RUM camping Over night)

Breakfast Start your full day tour to visit Petra "the rose red city". The city comprises a complete urban infrastructure which includes temples, baths, private houses, high places, paved streets, public buildings, markets, theaters, reservoirs and cisterns. Its entrance, a onekilometer long fissure through the towering cliffs, "The SIQ", provides a dramatic approach and induction to the city. The ancient city of Petra the treasure of Jordan is the seventh wonder of the world. It is situated within two hours drive north of Aqaba.
Petra is inheritance left by the Nabataens who were brave warriors and industrious scabblers settled in southern Jordan more than 2000 years ago. Petra's peculiarity is its wonderful location in the heart of the desert. The city is located in the mountains which depending on time of the day take a dye into pink, dark red, purple or orange. From the main entrance visitors pass between the precipitous cliffs through the awesome Siq, a huge crack in the sandstone 1,2 km. long.
The most famous Petra's monument the Treasury is the completion of the Siq. In addition, hundreds of building, facades, crypts, baths, mourning halls, temples, and, of course, a theater for three thousand seats built in the 1st century BC, are of great interest.
After visiting Petra you will have lunch at a local restaurant with an extensive selection of oriental dishes.
