Our dog sled adventures are the real deal, not just a ride. On our trips you will actually be handling the dogs and driving the sleds yourself so we need to give you about an hour and a half training. You'll then move to the staging area where you'll hook up your team, load your sled and head out with your group and guide for a 3050 km run through the Algonquin wilderness returning around 3 4 in the afternoon on the 1 day trips.

On the multi day trips (highly recommended) you'll travel from remote wilderness camp to camp, again covering 3050 km per day and stay in cozy wood stove heated tents.

If you are interested in the more adventurous pursuit of canoeing and kayaking, you'll enjoy the Saugeen. There are events on a regular basis, weekly activities, fishing, golf, outdoor concerts, art, history, classic cars, shopping, tennis, old fashioned market and much, much more. You'll find a real steam train in Port Elgin. This miniature 24 gauge steam engine and cars take you for a one mile ride along the waterfront. Enjoy the Flea Market and Beach Carnivals, an Historical walking tour, and cycling tours. Sauble Beach, with it's attractions for the kids is just down the road.The Bruce County Museum & Archives, and the Southampton Art school are things to see. The Welland Ship Canal is also close by for an interesting look into the operation and engineering involved in making huge ships 'climb the mountain". Marineland and Game Farm, thoroughbred horse racing, enjoying a fishing trip on Lake Ontario aboard a charter boat and trying your luck at Casino Niagara are also very popular attractions.
