Whitianga is situated on the eastern seaboard of the Coromandel Peninsula with a permanent population of around 4000 residents. It is accessible from three major cities, Auckland, Hamilton and Tauranga, within a comfortable 2 1/2 hour drive and/ or 30 minute flight.
Major attractions in the area are world famous 'Hot water beach' and 'Cathedral Cove'.
