Juanita Bananas located on Culebra Island, PR is a new concept in
Island Cookery. We have dedicated 1 acre of land surrounding the
restaurant for the purpose of cultivating most of the vegetables, fruits & herbs to be used in the preparation of our unequaled fresh delicacies.

This is being accomplished by the creation of a double system of
growing based on hydroponics for leafy vegetables, herbs, tomatoes
& cucumber. The second system for larger inground crops such as citrus, bananas, papayas, pigeon peas & squash is with drip irrigation.

The food is in the tradition of the SEAFARER'S INN restaurant founded
in 1970 by my parents where all the seafood came from Culebra waters.
