Mangaweka Adventure Company, "MAC", has an extensive range of products including multi day river journeys and day river trips. All of the trips are run on the beautiful Rangitikei River as seen in Lord of the Rings movie. The family trips are run on Grade 2 water and they offer the opportunity to run kayaks as well as rafts on our trips. No Experience is necessary and best of all, its fun and easy!

The family camping trips are among the best in New Zealand and range from 2 days to four days. Children from as young as 4 years old to as old as "the days" are welcome. All the river gear, trained experienced guides with heaps of character and camping gear is supplied. You bring your sleeping bag and funny tshirts for interesting conversation.The two day Grade 5 trip is quite exclusive and is suitable for reasonably fit participants. A minimum age of 13 years is required.
