Surf

In front of Hotel Miraflores you will find one of the best waves of the country, Las Flores point break and just a 25 min boat ride will take you to Punta Mango, a hollow point break in the middle of nowhere. You can rent boards at the Hotel.

Surf school

Las Flores beach is excellent for beginners to learn to surf. The beach is long and sandy. The waves at the inside are not that powerful. Best at high tide. Our experienced bilingual surf instructors will help you to ride your first waves.

Fishing trip

We offer fishing trips by boat. We will be trolling along the coast looking for tuna, dorado, red snappers and many other fish on the rich salvadoran waters. We have fishing rods for rent.

Golfo de Fonseca

Visit the gulf that El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua share together with stunning volcanic islands, small fishing villages and blacksand beaches. We go to Isla Meanguera, the most important one.

Alegria

Alegria is one of the most picturesque towns of El Salvador and famous for its flowers. There is a lake nearby which its waters are said to be medicinal. Do not miss the beautiful view from Mirador de los Cien Grados.

Conchaga

Only 6 Km away from the City of La Unin, at the foot of the Volcano with the same name you will find a quiet and small town with one of the very few Colonial Structures still standing after the earthquakes of this part of the country. Visit the Colonial Church of Santiago Apstol with more than 300 years. Conchaga is also famous for its pupusas.

Lagunas de San Miguel

Laguna el Jocotal is the largest bird sanctuary in El Salvador, hosting 214 species of birds. We visit the Laguna in canoe or boat.

Perquin

Perquin was the headquarters of the FMLN during the El Salvador's civil war and has an excellent museum of this war. The 'Rio Sapo' goes nearby and is the cleanest river in the country and a protected natural area. Great to swim in and hike around a beautiful landscape!

The diversity of life, paired with beautiful scenery, make kayaking this Florida location a must for vacationers and residents alike. Paddle the still mangrove backwaters as osprey soar overhead perhaps carrying a freshly caught mullet. Cross expansive grassflats and perhaps see the lagoon's top predator the dolphin working the flats. Along the canal manatee surface curious as to who might be visiting. Mangroves and seagrass beds create an environment very conducive to the marine life that support the osprey and dolphin, along with many other animals.

More than 4000 animal and plant species, including manatees, stingrays, sea turtles, seahorses, 700 species of fish and 310 species of birds call the Indian River Lagoon "home".

During the warm summer months the waters of Florida's Indian River and Mosquito Lagoon come alive with Bioluminescence. Every movement in the water produces light! From the swirl of your paddle or the trail of a speeding school of mullet (which look like hundreds of bluegreen underwater bottle rockets), to the ghostly glow of a slow moving manatee or sting ray, every movement is illumined. No need to travel to Puerto Rico to see this phenomenon it's right here in sunny central Florida.
