Wilmer Pond Cottages are located near Owen Sound,Georgian Bay. Pond fishing as well as lake and shore fishing are a must. Horseback riding, golf at 6 different courses all within a 5 to a 30 minute drive. Hike the Bruce trail, shop at the local flea markets, attend the Saturday night stockcar races in Varney, or the harness racing in Hanover. Swimming is available at the Durham Conservation Area, the Varney Pond, or at Sauble and Wasage beaches. Canoe rentals are available in Hanover or Paisley for using on the Saugeen River.
