The Manor Castle sits on an hill and it's surrounded by miles of woodland where you can enjoy long walks and the whole area is a patchwork of medieval hilltop villages which are all worth a visit. Lanciole, though tiny, has a bar/pizzeria which also sells a few basic foodstuffs. The area makes a good base for touring being within easy driving distance of many famous places including Lucca, Pisa, Pistoia and Florence.
Wonderful to discover the small villages all around where looks the time never passed away.....

Villa Arcaia is just on the border between Tuscany and Umbria, so that guests can easily choose from a multitude of cultural and sightseeing opportunities, in the fabulous TuscanUmbrian countryside. Our Villa is closest to Chiusi (Tuscany) as it is about 10 minutes away from our Villa.
