Here in Kihei it is almost always sunny, so prepare to enjoy some good beach time, including snorkeling, boogie boarding, body surfing, surfing, diving, boating, walking, jogging, or whatever suits your fancy. There is great variety in the beaches here, from the morning calm of Sugar Beach at the north end of Kihei to the surf of Makena to the rough lava coast and dolphins of La Perouse Bay. Enjoy spectacular snorkeling at Magic Lagoon or skinnydipping at Little Beach.

From Kihei, it is a short drive to Maalaea, where you may visit the new Maui Ocean Center and aquarium or take one of the many boat excursions from Maalaea Harbor.

On Maui, there are many beautiful drives, as well as hiking trails that will take you to hidden waterfalls or panoramic views of the Valley Isle.

Visit the resorts of Wailea and Kaanapali, explore the shops of Lahaina and Whaler's Village, and discover the many excellent restaurants from Wailea to Kapalua.

But most of all, kick back and relax, and develop a good case of "Polynesian paralysis", so you return home refreshed and renewed.
