The Costa Blanca white coast is perhaps one of Spains most attractive coasts. Ja and the nearby MONTE PEDREGUER are dominated by Mt Montghis majestic mountain protects the area well from northerly winds, while providing a dramatic backdrop that can be seen from almost everywhere in the vicinity. Previous visitors to the area need no further introduction, and those new to the area will soon discover the delights of exploring the narrow streets of Ja?s Old Town two kilometres from the coast the excitement of the nightly fish market at Aduanas del Mar, the busy fishing and leisure port and the fun of wandering along the Arenal and Port promenades at night. Over the years Ja has developed into a very special holiday area, where the emphasis is on maintaining the original style and character of the region.

Careful zoning has resulted in pretty villas covering the hillsides away from the town and coast, with lowrise apartment blocks restricted to the coastal area. Huge tracts have been rezoned as parkland and even villa construction is controlled with a minimum of 700 to 1000 square metre plots in JAVEA and DENIA. VILLA KENCHICO has the good fortune to have a 2500 sq m plot.

There is plenty to do! By day there are numerous coves to explore and enjoy the snorkelling. There is the sandy Arenal beach at Ja with its promenade lined with bars and restaurants catering for every taste. Torrevieja is a fast developing Mediterranean coastal town situated approximately 30 miles from Alicante on the Costa Blanca, in the south east of Spain. The nearest airports are Alicante (El Altet) which is about 35 minutes away and Murcia (San Javier) which is about 30 minutes. It is easily accessible due to the main N322 road and the A7 motorway.


There are numerous glorious beaches, as you would expect in the Torrevieja area. La Mata, La Zenia, Playa Flamenca, Los Locos, El Cura and Lo Ferris to name just a few. These are some of the best (blue flag) beaches in the Mediterranean and most have entertainment area for children, volleyball nets, bars and restaurants. Plus of course, golden sand and crystal clear water. The climate and the beaches lend themselves to a variety of water sports like water skiing, wind surfing and surfing.

The International Sports Marina also offers facilities for yachting and diving. Paragliding is also very popular in the area and there a couple of centres just up the coast at Santa Pola. The town also has a new Sports Palace which is a state of the art complex with facilities for most sports, such as squash, football, swimming, badminton, basketball etc. It really is a very impressive and stylish building. The Aqua Park has lots of water slides suitable for all ages and is well worth a visit

There are plenty of bars and restaurants within a stone's throw of the apartment for that pre and after dinner drinks with some offering nightly entertainment. And just a 10minute walk from the promenades, harbour and bustling town centre, with its exciting nightlife

The location of this Apartment is perfect for a great family holiday and within a Ten minute walk you have the choice of some of the finest beaches on the Costa Blanca.
