Regular taxi cabs are also available and inexpensive. Lake Nicaragua is a few blocks away. The popular attraction is a boat ride or kayaking on the lake to visit some of the 350 isletas. Buses, taxis and transport services are available to take you to Catarina and San Juan de Oriente. This towns are famous for their nusuries, flowers and pottery.
