A true dream vacation
Staying at Nirvana was the best dream vacation ever; On arrival we were greeted by Shine the night security guard (I call him Ninja!! he is always there in the shadows watching over you even when you don't see him he is there) He showed us such wonderful hospitality from the get go. The housekeepers were the same, (thank you Ms. Doris) they were always friendly always smiling always trying to please. Errol is the day time security and he is super duper special. He protected us from the peddlers on the outside of Nirvana and would not allow anyone to take advantage of us. Because of this I knew that I could relax and not worry about the dangers that could be lurking out there on the beach. The staff made our family reunion perfect; By the end of the trip it felt like both Errol, and Shine had become one of brothers. They are truly special people. Also, whilst staying at Nirvana, I met a beautiful young lady by the name of Connie who is a massage therapist as well as someone that braids hair. Was she good? Boy! It was the best massage both my sisters and I have had - you better believe it! (I am a massuese myself so I know what's real and whats fake)Her hair braiding is at a very reasonable cost she braided mine and my sisters and a few other guests. I would reccommend her to anyone. My siste got sun burnt and one of brothers had a slight mishap and she new what to do and what leaves t pick to soothe their ailments. Although she did not come with the resort, you can find her along the beach area -(perhaps Lonnie and Stan will see to it that she can be available to their guests on a regular basis-she's worth it!!) You are surrounded by resturants if you do not feel like cooking, the supermarket for grocery shopping is nearby, including banks, money exchange, pharmacy and the craft markets.
I cannot emphasize enough about this place. Definitely a winner. Special hugs to Moses, the groundsman what a beautiful job he does on the landscaping :) Feel like drinking the milk of the coconut, talk with Moses, he'll climb the tree, pick it for you, and prepare it! I cant wait to go back which will be in 6 months -see you all then,

Nirvana was awesome!
Nirvana was excellent! We traveled in a group of six and everyone of us thought that the staff was friendly and nice, the grounds were well kept and most of all we all felt safe and secure. Safe to the point where we were able to walk around the premises with our doors unlocked. The location also worked well for us because it was close enough to everything that we wanted to do in Negril. I would recommend Nirvanna to any and everyone! The next time I plan to go to Negril I will definitely be staying at Nirvana!!! Until then....

Ssssshhh...don't tell anyone about this place!
Length of stay: June 24th-29th 2009...This place is amazing! Lush tropical grounds...cottatge #2 provided comfortable accommodations that exceeded our expectations...the most awesome beachfront property in Negril! The staff is gracious and accommodating, security (Errol & 'Shine') were outstanding...anything we wanted, needed or had questions about were handled expeditiously. My family, friends and I will be back in a few months for a longer stay! Everything you need is right there at Nirvana Negril!

Paradise on the beach
We spent two weeks from April 12-26, 2009. This was our second year staying at Nirvanna. It felt like home knowing where to go and all of the staff. It is paradise. The grounds are beautiful, all the staff are very helpful. We stay in Cabin 5 and found it very comfortable and spacious. Complete relaxation and we will be coming back for many years to come.

Amazing Honeymoon!
We had the best honeymoon ever. We loved every minute of our stay. The staff is amazing and very helpful. The Sundeck Suite was fantastic. I will stay there again any time we come back. Which we will!!! We have done the fancy all inclusive mega resorts before but this was so much better. We loved being able to enjoy the local food or cook for ourselves in a relaxed atmosphere. The best part of the beach by far is at Nirvana. My husband and I walked most of the beach and we were pleased that our little find was the best on the beach. Some of the other places were located right next to loud clubs or bars but Nirvana is perfectly located in a quiet and stunning area of the beach. No rocks or jagged coral here. Plus the water was so calm we could actually get in it which was unlike some of our experiences with Mexico. Not one complaint this is truly a pefect beach location and as long as they keep it just the way it is we will be back again and again.

A TRUE vacation
We had a group of 4 40 somethings and a one 9 year old all in one cabin and it was a BLAST! The beach is the best- access to anything you could ever dream of- and the most calm, warm water I have seen. The grounds are beautiful, and the staff is great. We were safe and totally cared for the whole time. This is not LUXURY- it's NIRVANA. This is the second time we have been here and guess what- we'll be back next year FOR SURE!

Everything we hoped for and more
We had a group of 22 people, occupying 5 cabins, during spring break week 2009. The entire staff is wonderful and bent over backward to make sure we were happy with everything. We lost power for several hours twice, as did everyone else in the vicinity, but Shine made sure we had lanterns and candles. The only other complaint I heard was that one person's bed was too hard. Mine was just great though so I guess it depends on what a person is used to and can tolerate. If you are looking for a luxury resort, stay at Beaches. If you are looking for a laid back, no frills vacation, this is the place for you. I spent a day at Beaches. Too many uppity people.... very busy place. Nirvana is comfortable, quiet, close to many bars, restaurants, and shopping areas, and we always felt safe and secure. Drivers were available any time we wanted to go anywhere and their prices were reasonable. We would definitely stay here again.

Nirvana, what a gem!
My family of four spent a week at Nirvana in March 2009. We absolutely LOVED every minute of it. The staff is absolutely amazing and made our trip one that we will treasure forever. We loved the location and enjoyed heading in both directions up the beach. The beach in front of Nirvana is the best that we could find. We will absolutely stay at Nirvana again should we ever return to Negril.

Nirvana, WOW, beyond our expectations.
WOW, beyond our expectations. Although we did have high ones....the stay was that and yet some. The staff, the food, the cottage, the grounds, the beach, all super. The cabin setting was perfect, the gals were very helpful in every respect, from cleaning to cooking and the extra touch. A big thanks to the security, they all topped off our comfort zone with giving us the feeling off that home away from home feeling. Moses, Desmond, Earl, Shine and the rest were the perfect choice to have within the borders of the beautiful well kept grounds. We brought a few extras to share with the staff in showing our gratitude, which was acepted really well and in turn they shared their wisdom and experience with us.
Yes, we are seriously planning our next stay with you in the near future and will continue to share our positive feelings with all our friends.

the FULL Jamaican experience @ Nirvana
We had a fabulous stay at Nirvana!!!...we thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed atmopshere and found the staff very friendly and quite helpful.You have an excellent thing going on there!!! We will definitely be back. We checked out the 2 bdrm cottage with Ziggy because we would like to bring other folks along with us next time. Who knows, maybe even a group of people. We loved our room and we would definitely stay there again and would also like to check out a few of the other places. Like your suite...it looks lovely!!
My husband and I are not the "resort" type of people and when we visit a country, we want to SEE the country and not just be stuck on a resort. We felt right at home at Nirvana and thoroughly enjoyed the tranquil and peaceful surroundings. We love that you have kept the traditional feel of the island as well. It made us feel like we were getting the FULL jamaican experience.

Perfect beach! Accommodating Staff! Great Value!
My husband and I just returned from a wonderful and relaxing experience at Nirvana. We cannot say enough positive things about their staff (extremely courteous, accommodating and willing to go above and beyond to make our stay comfortable). The beach is large and private; the cottages are cozy, laid-back and rustic (the way the "old Negril" used to be); the location is accessible to everything. I have been coming to Jamaica since my college days in the 70s and recommend Nirvana as the best overall value for the price.
