No previous experience is required on many trips, and non-swimmers can be accommodated. Choose from a 1/2 day express run, a 1 day adventure, or a multi-day vacation, with options for wilderness camping, river side hot springs, hot showers or historic lodges. Great reliable rivers that run from April into October, and locations near Lake Tahoe, Sacramento, San Francisco and the Gold Country, and more remote parts of N. california for a real getaway.
Trips vary from 1/2 day (approx 3-4 hrs) to multi-day trips including all meals. You will receive paddling & safety instruction and life jackets when you meet us. Our professional guides will steer the rafts down the river, with our clients enjoying the participation of paddling, but oar rafts can be available on some trips for those who cannot or do not wish to paddle. Except on 1/2 day trips, we serve a bountiful riverside lunch, and then continue down the river for more great scenery and whitewater. At the end of the day, you arrive back at the meeting location (either in the raft or our shuttle vehicles) and if you are lucky, you will be spending a night under the warm California skies and looking forward to some more adventure the next day.
