Trishuli River Rafting

Trishuli river is very popular as access to the Prithivi Highway makes "breaking off" the journey easy. Trishuli is also an ideal beginner's river." * 1-4 days * good beginners river * easy access * link to safari at Royal Chitwan National park * Grade 2 to 3 rapids". During the monsoon, the river promises a more challenging ride, with powerful rapids and whirlpools. This trip can easily be combined with a visit to Chitwan National Park or Pokhara.

Typical Day

Day 01: Departure from Kathmandu at 7:00am. by tourist coach. After 3 hours of bus ride, we reach at Charaundi. You are welcomed by river guide & given briefing before start Rafting trip. Lunch will be served at 12:30 at the river beach. After having lunch, again we proceed our journey for next couple of hours. On the first day we encounter rapids Twin rock Ladies delight, Sweet-dream monsoon, Up-set, Good bye & surprise. Finally we stop at Fishling for over-night stay. Dinner is served at 8:00pm.

Day 02: Breakfast will be served at 8:00am. And after that we pack-up all gear & be ready for second day adventure. On that day, we pass by rapids, Butterfly, Electric, S bend & Pinbal. Lunch will be served at 12:30. At last we stop at Mugling for night rest. Dinner is served at 8:00 pm.

Day 03: As soon as we finished breakfast, we get ready for last day adventure. It will be nearly 2 hours river journey. Coffee pot is the great rapid of this section. Lunch will be served at Gaighat where this trip ends and transport will be arranged to your own destination. As being easily accessible river, we can do rafting from Baireni to Malekhu on monsoon. (June through September).
