Casa das Taipas is a one-bedroom apartment located on Rua das Taipas, in the heart of Oporto historical centre.
The building is dated Century and was recently renovated and equipped to provide visitors a convenient and economical stay.
Less than a 5 minutes walk there are some of the most emblematic places of the city: the Palacio da Bolsa, the Ribeira, the Customs Building (Alfândega), the Church of S. Francisco and the Tower of Clerics, among many others. Although the surroundings you can visit the Port wine cellars or take a cruise on the Douro River.
Nearby you'll find supermarkets, a pharmacy, post-office, very good and affordable restaurants, bars, coffee shops, shops, internet access and many other services.
The apartment has one bedroom, one big kitchen, one living room and two bathrooms. It is fully equipped for 4 people with one double bed (couch) and two single beds.

Directions

To arrive to the apartment from:
- São Bento Railway Station:
Take Rua das Flores and at the end (400 mts) turn right to Rua de Belmonte. After 180 mts, turn right to Rua das Taipas. After 50 mts you'll find the apartment on the left side of the street.
Taxi from this station cost around €10.

- The airport:
Take the metro until the Trindade Station and there change train to the Yellow Line (direction D. João II). Get off at the São Bento Station and then follow the instructions above.
Taxi from the airport cost around €25.
