Umbria Resort

Umbria Resort is a wonderful estate with charming apartments surrounded by a beautiful valley of 11 hectares.
Located just 3 km. away from the characteristic mediaeval village of Fabro, surrounded by untouched forests, green hills and olive groves, in the Umbria Resort you will enjoy unique services.

Our villas/apartments are fully furnished, we took care even of the smallest details: they have different characteristics and dimensions and are all equipped with living room and kitchenette, TV corner, bathroom, one or more bedrooms, veranda, garden and barbecue. For those who love a more adventurous holiday, there is a large camping area, where you can set your own tent or hire one.

Our guests will have the possibility to freely enjoy:


• two swimming pools, of different dimension and depth.
• A solarium equipped with sun beds, deckchairs and umbrellas.
• A tavern - bar by the pool, it’s the aggregation point where you can have breakfast in the morning and meet the other guests, have a quick meal or listen to some music in the evening.
• Games and sports area: table football, bowls game, giant chess, mini golf.
• Trekking paths: in the close wood you can make bird watching and long walks in the immaculate nature of our valley.
• Small wellness center with Jacuzzi, Sauna, Massage room and Emotional shower containing three different treatments: hydrotherapy, color therapy and aromatherapy (for the wellness program there’s a fee and must be booked in advance).

A relaxing holiday, entertaining but also full of culture: from the Umbria Resort you can visit with a short trip the most important villages and historic towns of Umbria, Lazio and Tuscany nearby:
Orvieto: 20min. - Città della Pieve: 20 min. - Chianciano Terme Spa: 20min. - Bolsena Lake: 30min. - Perugia: 40min. - Trasimeno Lake: 45min. - Rome (ring road): 1 hour. - Siena: 1 hour. - Florence: 1hr 10min. - Saturnia Spa: 1hr 10min. - Assisi: 1hr 15min. - Spoleto: 1hr 15min. (average journey times by car).

It's possible to organize gastronomic tours between local wineshops and wine farms.
For those who don’t like cooking by themselves there is a restaurant and pizzeria nearby (tasty typical home Umbrian cooking) with possibility of delivery service and take-away.

Conditions regarding renting the apartments:
All apartments have tableware, kitchenware, chairs, linen, towelry, TV, a fan. They are fresh even in full summer.

In the price is INCLUDED: gas for cooking, water, electricity normal consumption; weekly linen and towel change; initial and final apartment cleaning; use of resort facilities (excluded wellness center).
In the price is NOT INCLUDED: breakfast, food & drinks; extra linen and towel changing by request (8€); extra apartment cleaning by request (25€); extra final cleaning (25€) in case of leaving the apartment extremely dirty; use of the resort laundry facility and wellness center.

Apartments are self-catering; discounts for our guests are available in a good home-kitchen restaurant and pizzeria in the city center. For 5+ groups they do also delivery service (menu available at reception).

At arrival is possible to pay by cash or credit card, or send the balance due before arriving by bank transfer.
For credit card payments a 2% surcharge will be applied.

By car:
Whether you come from Rome or Florence take the A1 Highway and exit at Fabro: from those cities we are distant just an hour by car. After the tollbooth, you will find a crossroad: turn right and continue straight for approx 5 km: you will pass the old town of Fabro, then ever continuing on the main road (numbered 'SP 52') on the right side you’ll see our house with red tiles, here we are! Welcome to Umbria Resort!

By Train:
Regional trains departing from Roma Termini station direction Firenze, stop at Fabro-Ficulle (1h 30 min journey - 7 stops).
Regional trains departing from Firenze direction Roma, stop at Fabro-Ficulle (2 hours journey - 11 stops).
There are many trains between Rome and Florence, be sure to take one class “R”(Regional) that stops in Fabro-Ficulle.
All train schedules are available on www.trenitalia.it. Send us by email your arrival time and we will be happy to welcome you at the station of Fabro and give you a lift to the Umbria Resort! (The service is free but must be booked!)

By plane:
From Perugia International Airport take the shuttle bus to the Railway Station of Perugia. From there take a Regional Train first for Terontola-Cortona, where you have to get off and take another Regional train for Fabro-Ficulle, where we can pick you up. The whole journey lasts about 1h 30min.
We also provide an airport pick-up service, that costs 80€ for each 4 people, and has to be booked in advance.
