Graignamanagh is about 30 minutes from Kilkenny city.

Rainbirds is situated within a 5 min walk of Graiguenamanagh, the Village of the Monks, which lies in the heart of the Sunny South East and celebrated its 800th anniversary in 2004. This property is an excellent starting point for those wanting to explore the Medieval capital of Ireland-Kilkenny with its Norman Castle-as well as the former Viking port city of Waterford, the bustling cosmopolitan Norman town of Wexford and the thriving market town of Carlow.Superb shopping awaits you in all four towns.


The village with its river Barrow flowing through is also a delight for fishing enthusiasts and for walkers, who can explore the many beautiful lochs along its banks. For the more energetic, Brandon Hill is situated just outside the village and cannot be beaten for its view on a clear day. The Blackstairs mountains and Mount Leinster are also close by. There are excellent pubs and restaurants in the village as well as the neighbouring villages of Borris and Inistoige.

The utility room has a washing machine and outside is a rotary clothes line. There is also a clothes airer for inside. TVs are located in lounge,kitchen and in 3 of the 4 bedrooms.DVD and mini stereo is also in lounge.

Property is suitable for elderly and is wheelchair friendly with a ramp to rear door and a separate downstairs WC. Outside is a decked patio area with garden table and chairs.

Mount Juliet Championship Golf Course is 12 miles away.45 mins drive will take you to the one of the many beaches of Wexford.

Directions

Upon entering the village from Dublin side turn right at roundabout, 3rd exit, signposted Thomastown. Take an immediate right and an immediate right again up a steep hill. You pass playing fields on your left. Rainbirds is the last property on your right and has its name on the wooden gate
