Minos is a recently renovated four star luxurious complex superbly located near the beautiful sandy beach of Rethymno. Minos Hotel consists of accommodation in the main building and of two additional wings extended on 3000 m2. All the rooms are comfortably furnished and have all the facilities that you need for a pleasant stay: private balcony or veranda, private bath or shower, exclusive toiletries,
hairdryer in the bathroom, radio (channels music), satellite TV , direct-dial telephone, individually controlled lighting, daily maid service, safe deposit box (in the room), refrigerator in the room, central heating and air-condition. We have also rooms for disabled people.


Our buffet restaurant Ambrosia serves American breakfast in the morning time and in the evening, you can choose among delicious local specialties, as well as International cuisine and exceptional menus for every taste. Additionally, our hotel provides some extra facilities which are convenient for our guests as: early and late breakfast, late arrival meal, non-smoking area and children’s high – chairs (at no extra cost).
Enjoy our open air restaurant Dionysus and take the chance to combine the pleasure of our exquisite dishes and variety of snacks and the refreshing cocktails that we offer you, next to the pool. Discover our cuisine of a light, Mediterranean style in a bright ambience.
At evening time, visit our lobby bar Bacchus before your dinner for an appetizer or after your dinner, to continue having your best time at our hotel: a stylish cocktail lounge bar ideal for a relaxing drink, afternoon tea, or a traditional raki.
Don’t mind the heat! You can enjoy your drinks, ice – creams or cakes under the coolness of the pergolas, at our cafeteria. The cafeteria is a privileged area which one can enjoy at any hour of the day.

At our swimming pools you can lay and relax under the bright and warm Cretan sun, as you enjoy your refreshing drinks and delicious ice – creams or take your lunch by the pool. Our complex provides: two large swimming pools, sun beds and umbrellas (free of charge) and shower and WC (by the pool). For those that are salty waters’ lovers, the famous sandy beach of Rethymno is only 150 m. away. Sun beds and umbrellas (independent companies) can be used, on extra charge. You can also take part to any water sport provided (by independent companies) at the beach, such as windsurfing, Jet-skis, parasailing, pedaloes, canoes, water skiing and catamaran sailing.
Our effort of fulfilling every need you might have, leaded our company to create the following facilities, which are at your disposal: Internet corner (on extra charge), TV – room with digital projector, Jewelry shop, mini-market, luggage room, guests’ shower rooms (for departures), lifts, complimentary car parking, massage (upon request), wheelchair accessible.

You have up to 3 days prior to arrival to cancel the reservation without charge. If the reservation is cancelled within 72 hours prior to arrival you will be charged 1 night stay. Same day cancellations, no shows or early check out will result in 1 night charge.

Directions

On leaving Heraklion International Airport head south on G.Seremeti 0.5 km and then slightly right to merge onto Route 90/E75. Continue on next 78 km and then slight right at Route 90/E75/Plateia Patriarchou Athinagora (signs for Rethymno/Amari/Misiria). Continue to follow Route 90/E75 and after 1.8 km enter the roundabout. After 100 m hotel will be on your right.
