Welcome to our family run guesthouse in the colourful industrial town of Wernigerode.

Amidst the beautiful Harz landscape one can enjoy a relaxing or active stay.

Let us treat you to our choice of foods and drinks. Each day in our separate breakfast buffet room we offer a well balanced morning selection.

We will be pleased to help you plan your visit of Wernigerode and the Harz, be it by foot, horseback, car, mountain bike, ski or with the Brocken railroad.

Our in-house multi-sports hall is there for all types of ball games, whatever the ball size! Squash and tennis courts, a bowling alley and an indoor riding stable are all available close-by.

The owner offers guided mountain bike tours, of alternative levels of difficulty, and in winter these tours can be made with cross country skis.


Our rooms are decorated with light pine furniture, each has an ensuite.

Being a former artisan’s grain water mill, the rooms are of varying sizes. They are bright and friendly; some are over the rushing waters of the Zillierbach.

Our team is happy to help you with any special requests.

We offer you a traditional cuisine, with some local specialities.

Our half-board is often in the form of buffet.

We are happy to meet vegetarian and special dietary requirements.

Our local Hasseröder Pils beer and other local, national and international drinks are always available.

For 6 nights with half board paid we offer the seventh free (or 14 days for the price of 12)

Pets are allowed. Charges may be applicable.

Breakfast is included in room rates.

Taxes are not included at EUR1.80 per person.

Reservation can be canceled 2 days before arrival without costs.

Directions

By Car:
From Goslar, Brunswick, Halle and Magdeburg follow the B6, take the Wernigerode-center or Wernigerode-North exit. Once in Wernigerode, it is important to take B244 towards Elbingerode the Guesthouse Mann is the far side of the hamlet Nöschenröder (Directions: www.gaestehaus under-mann.de)

By Public Transport:
Wernigerode’s central station can be reached from all directions. (eg: Hall, Hanover, Braunschweig, Berlin, ...). From the Station you take the city line No. 2, or the overland lines in the direction of Elbingerode to reach the guest house which is over the Tennis Centre.
By prior arrangement we can pick you up at the station.
