Each of 12 standard rooms has a queen size bed in bamboo, private bathroom with hot water, telephone, ceiling fan and a fabulous view of the tropical garden.

We also offer 2 Jr Suites and 6 big Suites beach front, private pool and an incomparable view of the ocean. The suites rooms include a separate living room with bamboo chairs, love seat and a glass coffee table, all have various services, like: TV cable, coffee maker and mini fridge.
Our garden with Jacuzzi and relax zone is the perfect place to relax in the heart of the Caribbean jungle.

Our two-storey Restaurant Mediterraneo has a spectacular terrace overlooking the sea, and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything is homemade here, including bread, pasta, Romagnola piadina ( flat bread typical of Italy’s Emilia Romagna region ),and desserts. You will find a very friendly atmosphere where tropical elements combined all together create a nice environment for your dinner. Choose from our menu among the several salads, or different kind of pasta as spaghetti, ravioli, tagliatelle…seasoned with the seafood.

We are located at the best surf spot in Puerto Viejo ( The Beach Break).
Our centre is fully equipped with various models of Banzaii,Premiere, and RRD surfboards, available to rent to surfers of all levels.
Our instruction program is customized for each student.The instructor staff meets each morning prior to lessons to discuss the needs of each student and develop their lesson for the day. All instruction packages will include 1lessons each day, a one-on-one private lesson in the morning scheduled between 8-10 am.

Totem Hotel Beach Resort is located in Cocles beach just 1,5km from Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, a small village known for its mixture of indios Brì Brì, Caribbean black culture, and sheltered by Gandoca-Manzanillo natural reserve on the brink of the Panamanian border.

There are a number of different options for getting there from San José:

* The bus is the most economical option and is very cheap. Five daily direct buses leave from San Jose.

* Driving from San José takes about 4 hours (via the faster route) and there are two different routes possible.
* You can fly from San José to Limon and then take a bus or taxi to Puerto Viejo.

the Bus Terminal called 'Caribeños' located on Calle Central about 8 blocks North of the Parque Central. Caution: there are two towns called Puerto Viejo that you can catch a bus in this terminal. You want Puerto Viejo of Talamanca (also known as Puerto Viejo of Limon). The bus company that goes there is Transportes Mepe and their ticket office is at the end of the terminal. Ticket prices are currently ¢4845 (about US $10) for this approximately 5 hour trip and the bus makes one 10 minutes stop in Limon for bathrooms and something to eat.
