Mountain house is the first hostel that opened up in Manizales.

How to get to Mountain House
From the bus terminal:
By taxi: Take a taxi and tell the driver to go towards “Calle larga de Palermo o Calle de los Faroles”. The hostel is half a block of the street on the right hand side. It has a wooden sing in the upper part of the house. The taxi cost around 5.000 Colombian pesos. All taxis has a taxi meter.
By bus:
Red and white colored bus with Palermo - San Rafael - Minitas indicated on the sign.
Get off at the first light that you see on Calle 67. From there you walk one block to the left up to Calle 66 (the large street of Palermo). Turn right and walk about half a block. The hostal is on the right with a large wooden sign.
