Backstreet Cafe Hostel is family run and offer you a warm welcome, we are located near the center of Yangshuo.

My name is Hanna and my family and I welcome you to Yangshuo. Our hostel has a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere, and, despite being only a minute’s walk from West Street, the rooms are very quiet. Our central location is perfect for visiting Yangshuo’s many tourist attractions and I will be happy to arrange them for you. I speak English and I can obtain the best rates without you having to negotiate.

We have clean and spacious twin, double and triple rooms with en-suite bathrooms with showers, air conditioning/heating, 24-hour hot water, wireless internet connection, television and tea-making facilities all included in the price.


We are happy to prepare local and Western dishes for you in our restaurant and we serve a wide variety of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails in our bar where we also have free internet PCs.

Directions

From the airport:
If you want to use a bus, from the airport you first need to take a shuttle bus to the centre of Guilin (25CNY/person) please tell the driver you will get off close to train station ) or a taxi (about 100CNY). Then you must take another bus from the railway station or bus station to Yangshuo (15CNY/person) and it takes 1.5 hours.
From the nearest train station in Guilin:
You can take a bus 1.5 hours (15CNY/person), the latest leaving at 10pm. You can also take a boat on the Li River (but you must be in Guilin before 8:00am and you must book the boat ticket beforehand) and arrive in Yangshuo take five hours.
From Yangshuo bus station:
(1)When you arrive at the bus station, please walk down to Pan Tao Road five minutes. You will see Post Office please turn left to West Street.(or walk down to new west street, walk a few minutes you can arrive the West Street) When you see KFC and Bank of China on your right, after please turn left on the Cheng Zhong Road. Go through the bridge and turn right at the crossroads. You will see ‘Backstreet café Hostel’ on your left!
(2)From Yangshuo bus station exit turn right. Walk down this Die Cui Road, and turn right at the first intersection on the Cheng Zhong Road. Go straight ahead and turn left at the second crossing arrive at Gui Hua Road and we are located at number 11.
(3)However, it is better to phone ahaed or e-mail your arriving time so we can pick you up from the bus station.
From Guilin get a boat to yangshuo:
(1) If you get off longtou hill dock:
Please go down (south) Binjiang Rd,turn right at the third street Diecui Rd,take the second left come Guihua Rd,Walk 5 minutes,Backstreet cafe hostel is on your right.
(2)If you get off Yangshuo dock:
Please turn right (north) go up,turn left is west street,take the second right,into the South Guihua Rd.Go over the Longquan bridge, turn left come Guihua Rd .Walk 3 minutes.Backstreet cafe hostel is on your right.
By the way don't trust any local guide. Sometimes they will tell you wrong place or let you walk very long way. and they says will help you booking cheap price tours ticket ,most of is doesn't right.
