Singing Sands has always been an oasis for any traveler....couples seeking a romantic space, groups in search of a base location, or birding enthusiasts and water lovers needing a place from which to begin their Belizean adventure.' In addition to an outdoor pool, Singing Sands Inn provides a private beach and a 200' pier which gives our guests another sunny spot to relax, have a cold beverage and observe the abundance of marine life in the surrounding coral. Our swimming platform makes an ideal spot to begin exploring the clear waters, whether you choose snorkeling or paddling.

The nearby lagoon is ideal for early morning bird watching or a late afternoon excursion, where you may quietly canoe or kayak, while watching for a variety of birds, manatee and an occasional crocodile. You may also want to try your hand at fishing here.
We facilitate all excursions including birding, fishing, sailing, windsurfing & water sports, as well as snorkeling and scuba around the many cayes, caving, tours of archaeological sites and Mayan ruins, splendid rain forest treks, hiking the exclusive jaguar reserve, in addition to wondrous jungle expeditions. Rooms
The Cabanas and rooms are beautifully illuminated & simply decorated. Local artwork, hand-woven Guatemalan bed covers and hand painted Mexican tiles adorn each cabana. The world's second largest barrier reef will be your front yard. Each cabana comes with complimentary bottled water and offers a small deck with bench. Services include housekeeping and in-room massage.

Directions

From Belize City: Follow the western Highway to Belomopan, then turn left onto the Hummingbird Highway. Follow the Hummingbird highway to the Southern Highway and turn right towards Punta Gorda. Travel approx. 25 miles to Placenecia Road, turn left. Follow Placencia Road for approx 15 miles to Singing Sands on left.
From Placencia Airport. Go north on Placencia Road approx. 6 miles to Singing Sands on the right.
