Blanchard House is a B & B Guest Home in the tiny, spectacularly picturesque town of Woody Point, an enclave of Gros Morne National Park. The town is located in the heart of the Park's hiking district.

Accommodations

Built in 1904, Blanchard House is a heritage home that has been restored to early 20th century charm while providing modern amenities for the visitor. Guests share common rooms of the house. Parking is located at rear of the house so that vehicle is protected.


Associated with housekeeping units at Crocker Cabins in Trout River, about 18 kms away.

Rooms/Suites

The house has 4 bedrooms each with private/ensuite bathrooms. One room has a double bed with private bathroom (claw-foot tub, no shower) located down the hallway from the room. Two rooms (1-double bed each room) have ensuite bathrooms and the fourth room is a single room (1-single bed, suitable for 1 person) with an ensuite bathroom.

Directions

Driving North from TransCanada Highway, take Route 430 at Deer Lake for 37 kms to Wiltondale, turn onto Route 431 to Woody Point, approx. 36 kms.
Driving South from St. Anthony on Route 430, take the right turn onto Route 431 at Wiltondale.
Once you have arrived at the community of Woody Point, drive through to the 2nd "stop" sign and turn right, Blanchard House is the 5th or 6th house in on your right.

Discounts Offered

Blanchard House is opened from Mid-May to Mid-October only. It has no off-season.
