Ash Cottage is a family run purpose built bed & breakfast,with seperate entrance for guests, offering bright, comfortable, en-suite accommodation. It is situated close to the thriving town of Navan, on a quiet tree-lined road. Navan offers a variety of facilities and amenities for any visitor, including shopping, with a wide selection of restaurants ,pubs, cinema,theatre,night clubs and hotels.

The house is a three minute walk from the Ardboyne Hotel and a two minute walk from the local pub and restaurant. The house is a two minute stroll from Navan Rugby Football Club. Navan Racecourse, Fairyhouse Racecourse and high quality local golf courses are a short drive away. County Meath is the most historic part of Ireland. It is a wonderfully green and fertile land with the World Heritage sites of Newgrange and Tara.We are close to site of Battle of the Boyne.It is famous for its round towers,castles,monastic ruins and neolithic sites.You will recieve a warm and friendly welcome at our home and we will do all we can to make your stay a memorable one.

We have 4 ensuite rooms.there is free parking on site.The mature gardens are surrounded by trees and the house is situated on a quiet tree lined road.

The spacious rooms have recently been decorated and furnished. A good night’s sleep is assured, due to comfortable beds and quiet location. Each room has a multi-channel television, hairdryer and en-suite bathroom. The en-suite bathrooms are equipped with hot, powerful showers. A comfortable living room is also provided for guests with tea/coffee making facilities. A wide range of breakfasts are available in the dining room.

There is a local pub a short walk away which serves delicous food and has traditional music.The Ardboyne Hotel is a short walk away and Navan town has a variety of dining and shopping facilities.

A direct bus route to both Dublin City and Dublin Airport are close by, with frequent service to both.

Directions

You will have to travel towards Dublin on M1 then exit to travel south on m50 then exit to the N3 towards Navan/Cavan.remember exits are off the left lane.after about 20 km you will travel through village of Dunshaughlin. Continue on N3 and after another 20 km you will come to a traffic light before bridge over river Boyne. At far side of bridge you will see a pub on the left called Old Bridge Inn. Look for Sherlocks Furniture and b+b sign. Travel up this road beside pub car park for short distance and you will see sign for Ash Cottage on left.Travel time is about 45 minutes depending on time of day. Safe journey.

If travelling to Navan from either Kells,.Trim, or Slane take the N3 towards Dublin the river Boyne will be on your left.you will pass under the railway bridge, then a petrol station called Maxol. You will then come to a traffic light, and immediately after you will see a sign for the Ardboyne Hotel on the right. Turn right off the N3 at sign and pass by the entrance to hotel. Travel down road past rugby club on right. Continue for a short distance down road. There will be red brick houses on right with a wall with black railings on your right. You will see sign for ash cottage b+b on right.
