The Mamori Jungle Hostel has been created by Eco Discovery Tours for backpackers, who want to explore the Amazon jungle around Manaus inexpensive on their own and avoid the upmarks of tour agencies.

The hostel is located 102km south of Manaus in the Mamori lake area, accessible by public transport. Guests can use the facilities such as canoes and mosquito-nets to explore the jungle and optional participate in organized jungle tours.

The surest way to get to the MAMORI JUNGLE HOSTEL is by the airport pick-up service. To arrange this, send an email along with the details of your FLIGHT NUMBER, date and arrival time. The airport pick-up service costs 35 Reais, or is free for those doing Jungle Tour.

The cheaper option is to take the bus; The 306 comes every half hour to the airport, from 5:00am until 12:00pm. (From the bus station and port: take any bus marked CENTRO.)
