Surrounding Area

Yianna hotel is situated in the first village known as skala, just 2 minute walk from the sandy beach of skala over looked by mountain views,so is idealy located for swiming in the crystal clear waters, fishing and snorkling is highly popular in the area, but pedalo's and canoe's are availble for hire on the beach if you just want to have fun in the sun
The mountain is very popular with walker, and serious hikers alike with many trails leading up to must see churches scattered about the mountain hiden amoung pine trees, mountain biking is also very popular with vistors and there is a good choice of shops around the village to hire these or motor bikes

Accommodations

The hotel rooms are located together in one block beside the swimming pool, which is surounded by sun loungers and comfortable wicker garden furniture under sun shades there is also a large screen projector, showing any big sporting events or dvd's etc ! the bar area is open air but protected from the sun with electronic sun shades, and has lots of comfortable seating availble to take a drink or quiet meal or just sit and watch tv and relax.

The rooms all have free air conditioning, tv, fridge, with tea/ coffee making facilities availible on request, all rooms have private bathrooms and balconies, half the rooms have poolside views the other half has mountain views.

The hotel has its own restaurant(Alterego)serving traditional greek food plus many other continental dishes, with specials added daily. there are also many other restarants scattered about the village.
the island also boasts 2 night clubs 1 in skala called Taboo. the other is in Milos and is called Castro's

Other Information

Every tuesday the hotel holds a greek night party, for a small charge you can eat as much as you like from our self service buffet with free wine all night, then sit and watch the tradtional greek music and dancing show after which everyone is encouraged to get up and join in, a fun filled night for everyone!

Directions

When you arrive from piraeus, if coming to the island by car ferry then you will dock at skala port, yianna hotel is approx 200 metres from the port following the road straight up the hill and continue straight ahead the hotel is on the right hand side
if arriving by the flying dolphin you will be taken to milos the next village along from here you can take the bus to skala or walk aprox 1 kilometre along the coast road, or if your not sure give us a call and we will meet you and take you along to the hotel
